The ensemble are separated into booths, with their takes isolated. The takes are then compiled. It has [[tonewood::Claro Walnut]] back and sides, and an [[topwood::Adirondack Spruce]] top. The top is painted black; it is currently the only black-topped Thompson guitar being played in public, and only the second ever made.
